The effect
Water is
the switch.
Every WYRO jacket hides a print in its outer fabric. Dry, you see black. Wet, you see what was there all along.
What we can say today
- Trigger
- Water on the outer fabric — rain, splashes, a spilled drink.
- What changes
- A tonal leopard print shows through the black surface where the fabric is wet.
- Where
- Only where water lands. A few drops leave a few marks; a downpour reveals the whole panel.
- Performance
- Waterproofing, breathability and cycle durability are published after testing — we make no claims before then.
Effect demonstrations
The following clips show comparable water-reactive garments by other makers, credited below each video. They demonstrate the effect, not WYRO products.
