The effect

  • How does the colour change work?

    The outer fabric carries a print that stays hidden while the jacket is dry. When water soaks into the surface, the print shows through — wherever the water lands. The detailed technical explanation will be published with the product specifications.

  • Does it change every time the jacket gets wet?

    Yes — the print appears wherever the fabric gets wet and fades back as the fabric dries, so the jacket returns to solid black.

  • What does it look like when dry?

    Solid black. The product renders show both states side by side: the right half dry, the left half with the tonal leopard print that water brings out.

  • Is the jacket waterproof?

    The Half-Pattern Hooded Jacket is a rain jacket, waterproof and rated 7,000 mm. The Asymmetric Quilted Puffer is a padded jacket built for warmth; it has no waterproof rating.

  • How should I wash it?

    Care instructions will be published with the confirmed materials and on the garment care label.

  • Do I pay when I pre-order?

    No — pre-ordering is free. You choose your jacket and size and leave your name and email. No payment is taken. When the jacket is in stock we email everyone on the pre-order list, and you can buy your size then.

  • When will it be in stock?

    We expect the first drop in stock within 4 weeks. Everyone who pre-ordered gets an email as soon as it's available, and orders ship after purchase.

  • Can I cancel a pre-order?

    There's nothing to cancel — no payment is taken. If you change your mind, simply don't complete the purchase, or unsubscribe from our emails at any time.

  • What sizes are available?

    Both jackets come in unisex sizes XXS to XXL, in European sizing. Garment measurements are listed in the size guide on each product page.

  • What if my size is unavailable?

    Pre-order your size anyway. Pre-orders tell us how many of each size to make, and everyone on the list is emailed as soon as stock arrives.

    WYRO is being built for international customers. Shipping destinations, costs, duties and taxes will be shown at checkout once confirmed.
